Indigenous Law and Legal Pluralism

The McGill Law Journal (MLJ) is pleased to invite scholars, students, lawyers, and community members to its Annual Symposium, which will feature the authors of the Journal’s forthcoming special issue on “Indigenous Law and Legal Pluralism.”
The symposium aims to explore the identification of Indigenous law, the (in)ability of Canadian state law to recognize it, and its role in legal education among other key themes.
Les articles présentés durant le symposium, certains étant présentés par des auteurs canadiens de premier plan, marqueront une contribution importante à un domaine florissant de la pensée juridique. Nos panelistes invités et nos modérateurs prendront part à la discussion quant aux questions vitales que soulève le droit autochtone pour les communautés autochtones et non autochtones à travers le Canada.
